Warsaw Print Tech Expo 2024, one of the most important events in the printing industry in Central and Eastern Europe, took place September 3-5 in Warsaw. The expo brought together industry leaders, innovators and specialists to present the latest printing technologies, products and solutions for three days. The event was an excellent opportunity to establish business contacts, learn about market innovations, and discuss the future of the printing industry.

Artificial intelligence at the forefront of changes in printing

One of the main topics discussed at this year’s edition was artificial intelligence and its growing role in printing production processes. During numerous panel discussions, experts presented various aspects of AI application – from automation and optimization of machine operation, to data analysis and product personalization. The panels included representatives of technology giants as well as smaller companies implementing innovative solutions.
Among the speakers, it was emphasized that artificial intelligence can revolutionize the industry, especially in the context of automated management of production processes, precise monitoring of print quality and cost reduction. Panelists unanimously agreed that AI is the future of printing, and companies that are already investing in these solutions gain a strategic competitive advantage.

Honors for industry leaders

During Warsaw Print Tech Expo 2024, prestigious trade fair awards were also traditionally presented. Four categories were awarded to companies that particularly stood out for their achievements and innovations. Here is the list of winners:
The Polish Chamber of Flexographers was awarded for its trade show premiere.
Pegasus won an honorable mention in the Innovation category, presenting cutting-edge solutions related to UV printing that could revolutionize printing technology in this segment.
Atler also received an award in the Innovation category, for its innovative approach to production and implementation of modern technological solutions in printing.
EMB Systems was recognized for a trade show product that stood out for its innovation and functionality, drawing the attention of visitors.
PLOTSERWIS received an honorable mention for its trade fair exhibition, whose modern solutions and presentations won the appreciation of both the jury and the participants of the event.
Avargraf received an award for a trade fair product that stood out for its advanced technology and application possibilities in various segments of the printing market.
ADP Polska won an award for an innovative trade show product that attracted the attention of many interested customers.
Digipress also received an award in the Innovation category, for its pioneering approach to digital printing and high-tech solutions.
Innovator Grant: Quantum Neuron supports AI in printing

There were also plenty of surprises at the awards gala. Quantum Neuron funded a special grant of PLN 10,000 for the implementation of solutions related to artificial intelligence in the company. This award was given to one company that stood out not only for its technological innovations, but also for its readiness to use AI in everyday production processes.

The grant is intended to help fund further work on implementing artificial intelligence solutions to improve production processes and optimize costs. This is a clear signal that AI is becoming a key part of the future of the printing industry, and companies that choose to implement it will gain an advantage in the market.

Meetings, interviews and networking

The Warsaw Print Tech Expo 2024 was also an excellent opportunity for participants to talk and exchange experiences. Journalists conducted a series of interviews with representatives of the awarded companies, who shared their plans for the future and prospects for the development of the industry. They all unanimously stressed that innovation, especially those related to digital technologies and artificial intelligence, will play a key role in the further development of printing.
